Dr. Evans is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and board certified by the American Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Evans is licensed to practice in North Carolina and received his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University. He received his medical degree at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University where he was a Brody Scholar, and completed his residency at Wake Forest University.
Dr. Evans is a new member of Family Medical Associates of Raleigh joining in the fall of 2013 after working for Wake Med in primary and urgent care. He specializes in dermatologic procedures such as mole and skin cancer removal, cryosurgery, chronic disease management (Diabetes, HTN, COPD) and sports medicine including joint injections. Dr. Evans has participated in medical missions, and plans to continue this throughout his career.
He enjoys spending time with his family, church, hiking, soccer, running, surfing, and golf.
