"Family Medical Associates of Raleigh is a Family Medicine practice that provides primary health care services to patients of all ages following a team-based approach. We partner with our patients to provide a medical home that is respectful, compassionate, accessible, and comprehensive.
Family Medical Associates of Raleigh has a physician available after hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays) as a service to our patients to address urgent and emergent health care needs. If you have a question or a health issue arises and you are thinking about going to an Urgent Care or the Emergency Room, please call our office first. However, after hour calls are not for routine medication refills. If you run out of your meds over a holiday or weekend, your pharmacy will usually give you 2-3 days of medication until our office is open again.
Choosing a primary clinician on MyMedicare.gov does not change your Medicare benefits or which clinician you can see. It gives your provider access to more tools or services to help coordinate your care, especially when the clinician participates in an ACO or other Medicare alternative payment models.
This video outlines the step-by-step process on how to choose or change your primary on MyMedicare.gov.
Also, you can refer to the Beneficiary Fact Sheet.
Help us provide better service to you by notifying medicare that FMAR is your primary care clinician.
